Commercial audits, competitor and search analysis, tracking, and working out where the opportunity actually is.
Digital growth for established UK businesses
I work with established businesses on the whole commercial system, from being found to the sale being closed, rather than treating the website, the marketing and the software as separate jobs. The result you should judge me on is better enquiries, more of them converting, and less money spent on things that were never going to work.

Working with
For years I was the one running the business, and there was always something more immediate than the website. Customers, staff, suppliers, quotations, operations, cash flow, sales.
The website might need improving, the Google Ads might need attention, the SEO was never quite clear, and AI has since added both real opportunity and a longer list of things to understand.
That experience is why I look at digital work commercially rather than simply technically.
Digital work should be judged like anything else in a business: did it bring in better customers, save time, or make the next decision easier?
Where to start
Most businesses do not need everything. They need the right two or three things, in the right order. The assessment works out where the business is losing time, leads, growth or visibility, and what is genuinely worth doing about it.
Three to five days of investigation across the areas that decide whether digital activity turns into customers.

You get a clear, prioritised written plan setting out:
Implementation is scoped separately if you want help afterwards. No obligation to carry on.
Four steps, in the same order, every time.
Understand the business, bottlenecks and priorities.
Review the website, search visibility, enquiries, follow-up, tools, reporting and workflow.
Produce a clear written action plan with priorities, quick wins and bigger opportunities.
Walk through the findings together and agree the best next step.
Every recommendation should improve at least one of these.
Will it help win more leads, improve conversion, increase retention or raise customer value?
Will it save time, reduce admin, shorten delays or remove friction?
Will it improve the customer experience, consistency, accuracy or delivery?
If an idea improves none of these, it probably is not the priority.
The work is organised around what a business is trying to achieve, not around the technology used to get there. Most projects only need two or three of these at any one time.
Commercial audits, competitor and search analysis, tracking, and working out where the opportunity actually is.
Websites, landing pages, calculators and the customer journeys that sit behind them.
Google Search, SEO, local visibility, content and paid advertising where the numbers justify it.
Enquiry handling, follow-up, CRM and AI-assisted workflows that take repetitive work off people.
Analytics, conversion tracking, honest reporting and steady improvement rather than one-off projects.
Each stage feeds the next, and all of it is judged on better enquiries and better customers.
Most digital work stops at the enquiry. The money is made further along. I look at the whole journey and then implement the parts that are commercially worth doing, which is rarely all of them at once.
Depending on the business, that can mean enquiry acknowledgements, lead routing, missed-call follow-up, a CRM, automated follow-up on quotes, appointment workflows, review requests, conversion tracking or simple reporting. Not every project needs any of it. The point is that it gets looked at rather than ignored.
Four businesses, four very different problems. None of them needed the same answer, and none of them got the same website.

pinnaclebalustrades.co.uk
Supply-only glass balustrade systems, where trade and homeowner buyers struggle to specify and price a technical product without picking up the phone.
Customers can now choose a system, see the price and check the main regulations online, with a quote calculator, system selector and load calculator.

koijumpguards.co.uk
One of my own businesses, which gives me somewhere to test ideas on a real commercial operation rather than experimenting on client accounts.
A specialist physical product turned into a full online journey, with a custom pond guard designer, guides, pricing guidance and online sales.

snugroofthermal.co.uk
Conservatory ceiling insulation, a seasonal home-improvement purchase where local visibility and clarity on price decide the enquiry.
Prices are published on the site, so people can work out roughly what the job costs before they enquire, alongside a suitability check and direct call and WhatsApp routes.

I do not have a service I am trying to sell you before I have looked at the business. If your website is fine and the problem is how enquiries get handled, I will say so. If paid advertising would burn cash at your margins, I will say that too.
The recommendation follows whatever is most likely to produce a commercial return.
What I never recommend automatically:

I spent the first part of my career building, owning and running businesses. After selling my business, I used the time and experience I had gained to go deeply into websites, digital marketing, Google Ads, search, analytics, AI and automation.
What I offer is not traditional agency thinking. It is modern digital capability combined with first-hand experience of what it feels like to carry a business.
Website and systems work
Not every business needs a large digital system. Some need a properly considered website and nothing more. Others need the website to do a good deal more than look good. These are two different pieces of work, not two versions of the same one.
From £2,500
A focused website for businesses that need a strong professional presence without unnecessary complexity.
Clear positioning and messaging, a sensible structure, professional responsive design that works properly on a phone, calls to action that lead somewhere, enquiry functionality, core SEO foundations and tracking where it is required.
Includes 3 months of post-launch support
Once the site is live, I stay involved for the first three months to help with minor content updates, fixes, sensible refinements and anything small that becomes apparent once real customers start using it. This covers small updates and practical improvements rather than new pages, major features or ongoing campaign management.
Scope is agreed before work begins.
From £5,000
For businesses where the website needs to do considerably more than look good.
Strategy, customer journeys, lead generation, SEO, analytics, integrations, calculators, configurators, quoting systems and automation can be built around what the business actually needs. It depends entirely on the project, and nobody pays for functionality they have no use for.
Includes 3 months of enhanced post-launch support
After launch, I stay involved for the first three months to help refine the site, review how it is being used, check tracking and make sensible improvements as real customer behaviour starts to show us what matters. That can mean small content and layout refinements, tracking and analytics checks, conversion improvements, minor system changes, practical SEO and marketing advice, and one sensible review during each of the three months.
Scope and price agreed before work begins.
There is no obligation to continue after the first three months. If ongoing support is useful, we can agree the right monthly level from there.
Priced individually
Substantial e-commerce, product configuration, custom estimating and quoting, automation, integrations and other bespoke functionality are quoted on their own terms, once the requirement is understood.
From £2,500
Focused website build
A business that needs a strong website without complicated functionality.
From £5,000
Growth website or business system
More involved functionality, strategy, lead generation or digital systems.
£245, £495 or £1,195 a month
Ongoing involvement
After a build, or for a business that already has a website and wants it working harder.
Tell me what you are trying to achieve and I will tell you which of these it looks like.
Ongoing involvement
Some businesses want a website built and nothing else, which is perfectly fine. Others want someone experienced staying involved once it is live. These three levels are simply increasing amounts of my time and attention.
£245a month
For a small business that wants an experienced pair of eyes on the digital side, without a consultant heavily involved every month.
Regular website oversight, small updates, SEO observations, analytics checks, troubleshooting and practical advice when a decision comes up.
A defined level of support each month rather than unlimited work.
£495a month
For businesses that want me involved more regularly in improving how their digital activity performs.
Depending on the business, that can mean website improvements, SEO, analytics, conversion work, Google Ads oversight, lead generation, reporting, and spotting where AI or automation would genuinely help.
The mix is agreed with you, not applied automatically.
£1,195a month
For businesses that want ongoing senior-level involvement across their website, marketing, systems, measurement and digital growth.
Strategy and prioritisation, websites, SEO, Google Ads, analytics and reporting, conversion, AI and automation, digital systems, oversight of other suppliers, deciding what should happen next and measuring what is actually working.
The closest thing to having a senior digital person in the business without employing one.
None of this is compulsory after a build. Website build clients already receive an initial three-month post-launch support period, so ongoing monthly support only starts after that, where it makes commercial sense. Equally, if you already have a website and systems and want them improved, these levels work just as well on their own.
No obligation. We can work out which level, if any, makes sense.
A focused project, ongoing consultancy and support, fractional involvement over a longer period, or working alongside an internal or external team you already have.
I will not knowingly work on competing growth strategies for two directly competing local businesses at the same time. If that situation looks likely, I will raise it with you before we start.
Tell me what the business does, what is already working and where you think it could be better. I will tell you honestly whether I think I can help.
What happens next
I read every enquiry myself and reply personally, usually within one working day. The first conversation is a straightforward call: what the business does, what’s working, and where you think it could be better. No pitch deck, no sales sequence, no mailing list.
